The honey extractor is a manual format with stainless steel. It includes a honey gate tape built-in to the drum frame.
This unit does not waste your time to stop and take the frames out and turn them around to spin the other side!
It is reversible without taking the frames out saving you tons of time! In fact, it takes half the time of smaller manual honey extractors that need to be stopped to turn the frames around to spin the other side…
This unit is mirror-finished and made at the highest quality standards. The dimensions are quite large of this unit as follows:
- 6 Frame Extractor
- Manual and a gear ratio of about 5:1
- Stainless steel
- Actual size: 74 x 74 x 89cm – It’s a big unit and she is beautiful!
- Gross Weight:28Kg.
The unit is rather wide and based on the centrifugal design using spokes from a central pivot point leading out to the edge.
The unit takes 6 frames of either brood or super frame sizes.
They will need to be collected in Centurion (warehouse depot by arrangement) or a courier will be required at additional cost to the customer. Our experience is that this unit carries a courier fee of about R1200 estimated using freight services for regional areas. Outlying areas will incur higher costs.
