THE SERVICE
A simple route from
beeswax to foundation.
Your material stays your material. The service brings it back into use as foundation sheets for your frames.
Your own batch
Your wax is processed separately, then rolled into South African pattern foundation sheets for your order.
Back to your apiary
Collect your sheets from Bee Ware in Centurion, or ask about courier delivery at an additional weight-based charge.
PROCESSING RATE
R43 / kg + VATR49.45/kg including 15% VAT. Charged on the weight of customer beeswax received for rolling.
Typical processing loss is approximately 2.5%, so the weight returned as foundation is lower than the weight received. Sheet count varies by format and batch. Courier delivery is charged separately by shipment weight.

Bee Ware acquired the established Venter Suiwer Heuning wax-foundation business, including its equipment, methods and customer-service legacy. We’re preparing a new production home at our Hennopspark shop.
The foundation specifications and wax-processing methods continue. We’ll share the first look inside the new workshop once the equipment is installed and ready.

What wax can I bring?
Clean beekeeper’s beeswax. Send us a note before bringing wax if you’re unsure about your batch.
Will my wax be kept separate?
Yes. Each customer’s wax is processed as its own batch and returned to that customer as foundation sheets.
Which sheet sizes are available?
South African brood and super foundation sheets with the South African cell pattern.
Is there a minimum batch?
We’re planning around a minimum of approximately 5 kg. The final intake minimum will be confirmed before bookings open. Join the list even if you have less, so we can advise you.
When will my sheets be ready?
Turnaround depends on the quantity submitted and will be confirmed for your batch. The interest list does not reserve a processing date.
