We do sell the wooden 8-way LID component but any plastic or wooden or even cardboard can be used as you cut a hole in it and place the bee escape over the hole where the bees will enter and then they walk out the 8 escape routes and down into the brood chamber.

How-to Use 8 Way Bee Escape:

2. Placement on Honey Supers: Gently place the 8-Way Bee Escape on top of the honey supers, ensuring a snug fit. The escape features eight directional exits that guide the bees out of the supers but prevent them from re-entering.
