The summer is almost over and Autumn is Coming! There’s still some swarming going on with the late-blooming crops in areas of the country with sunflower and certain blue gums.
In our latest Bee Ware Bee Mail Newsletter (subscribe here for free: www.beeware.co.za/subscribe) we shared the best trees and plants that are flowering in March to make the most of these. Now. Click Above to get the next email and so much more…
We stock new bee tools and honey processing equipment like wax extruders that separate honeycomb beeswax and cappings from honey at 50kg an hour, large-size honey extractors of 30-frames, honey filtering machines, honey pumps and more as partners with Lyson.
This cool honeycomb extractor separates cappings from langstroth frames and honeycomb harvested top Bar hives equally well. The biggest benefit is that it is literally a load and forget machine. You load it with honeycomb from a top bar and cappings from a langstroth super frame you have uncapped and it processes 50kg an hour allowing honey on one side and beeswax out of the other.
Get those last honey harvests done before the autumn is over and winter sets in. There’s at least one more super worth of nectar on the March flows in the Highveld and northern half of SA, KZN Areas and WC!
What to do? FOCUS on getting access to the March flowering trees and plants for your bees!
